The Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) has mourned the death of Gandhian K. Srinivasan.

In early years of the Mysore Grahakara Parishat, he had encouraged the organisation to take up several causes helping the poor and was ever ready to take part in MGP activities and protests, a release by Bhamy V. Shenoy of the Mysore Grahakara Parishat said here.

Prof. Srinivasan used to attend MGP’s monthly meeting and was a source of great strength whenever the parishat planned any protest, the release added.

In 2004, when the Mysore Grahakara Parishat organised a campaign called ‘Save Mysore’, Prof. Srinivasan came along with his friend J.R. Lakshmana Rao.

MGP, in the recent years, has lost several members who helped it to serve Mysureans by taking several causes for preserving the old charm of the city.
