Deputy Commissioner V. Anbukkumar has said that the district administration will not raise funds from public for holding the Hoysalotsava.

The event would be organised with the funds available with the administration and additional sanctions expected from the State government, he said.

He was speaking at a meeting of officers here on Friday focussing on the preparations for the three-day event. The officials have decided to hold the Hoysalotsav for three days from January 9, 2015, according to a communiqué from the district administration.

The State government had earlier released Rs. 46 lakh for the event.
