First women’s batch of KISF completes training

The first women's batch of Karnataka Industrial Security Force (KISF have completed their year-long training at the District Armed Reserve (DAR) here.

A passing out parade was held on Friday for a total of 163 women, selected from different parts of the State, to undergo training at DAR.

KISF is the newly established industrial security force of the State Government on the lines of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Minister in charge of Mysuru district V Srinivas Prasad inspected the passing out parade at DAR grounds in Jyothinagar.
