A man and his two daughters were killed as their house caught with fire at Manchenahalli in Gowribidanur taluk in Chickballapur district late on Friday night.
The police gave the names of the victims as Nagaraj (45), Nikhita (10) and Nithya (8). The house caught fire reportedly due to a short circuit when the family members were asleep. While Nagaraj and Nithya died on the spot, Nikhita was admitted to hospital but succumbed to injuries.
The Manchenahalli police have registered a case.
