English teachers joined PU evaluation boycott here on Tuesday by abstaining from evaluation work.
The protesting teachers took out a protest march from the evaluation centre at Mahila Vidyapeetha at Vidyanagar to Mini Vidana Soudha.
The protestors said they would not yield to the government’s pressure tactics and would not withdraw their boycott until the pay discrepancy was rectified. They later submitted a memorandum to Hubballi tahsildar.
