Employees demand regularisation of services

The contract employees of Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRIDL) working in Kalaburagi division staged a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioners’ office here recently urging the State government to regularise their services.

President of the Kalaburagi division KRIDL Employees’ Association Malleshappa Ambalagi said that KRIDL, an undertaking of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, had not made any recruitment from the last 15 years.

The employees in different posts were working on contractual basis.
