Steps will be taken to acquire land from farmers to develop layouts for the poor in the city, Davangere Urban Development Authority chairman Ayub Pailwan has said.

Farmers would be taken into confidence and a well-planned layout would be developed to be named after the district in-charge Minister. Steps would also be taken to complete the construction of a ring road.
