Driver on poll duty dies of heart-attack

A driver attached to Hubballi Rural Block Education Office and on poll-duty died of cardiac arrest on Friday.

The driver has been identified as Neelappa Garag (55).

Block Education Officer Mohan Hanchate told The Hindu that the incident occurred when they were leaving for the poll duty. ‘He collapsed suddenly. By the time the doctor arrived he had breathed his last. The doctors said he had suffered a massive heart attack”, he said.
