For the first time, the film jury has not announced the prestigious Dr. Rajkumar, Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Puttanna Kanagal awards for 2015. In the light of criticism faced in recent years over selection of award winners, the State government has decided to constitute a committee headed by film-maker Dorai (of Dorai Bhagavan fame) to select personalities for these awards on the lines of the panel constituted to select Dadasaheb Phalke Award, said N.R.
