‘Don’t implement report’

The District Banjara Hakku Horata Samiti has warned that it would launch an agitation if the State government takes steps to implement the recommendations of the Justice Sadashiva Commission report. Addressing reporters here on Sunday, samiti president K.R. Mallesh Naik said that the commission had failed to collect proper information about backward communities in the State while preparing the report and implementing it would be injustice to many backward communities. “The commission has recommended removing 99 per cent of communities from the list of Scheduled Castes,” he said.
