Development tardy in Shimoga: Yeddyurappa

Former Karnataka Chief Minsiter B.S. Yeddyurappa and BJP candidate from Shimoga, expressed displeasure at the progress of development works in the city.

Speaking after inaugurating a blood donation camp at Sagar Road here on Saturday, Mr. Yeddyurappa alleged the Centre had failed to provide enough funds for development in Shimoga during his tenure as Chief Minister. To upgrade Shimoga’s connectivity, the construction of an airport near the city was initiated.
