A minor fire broke out in the Judge’s Chamber attached to the court hall at the Afzalpur taluk court complex in Kalaburagi district when a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder kept inside the store room burst on Saturday morning.

The police claimed that the valve of the cylinder was deliberately kept open to disturb the court’s functioning. Fortunately, no one was present near the chamber when the blast occurred.

The police confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident.
