To our query: Is the world safer with Osama Bin Laden dead? Subramanya C. writes:
The seed of terrorism is very deep-rooted and will not go away with just one of its proponents dead. Osama was strongly committed to what he believed in and was bent upon achieving his objectives. But he has built a fiery outfit of dedicated followers to whom the baton has passed now, and the outfit secretly receives regular funding. The only way terrorism can end is by instilling the simple truth that nothing good has ever been achieved by violence and hate.
