Though investigation into the photo-shoot inside the Mysuru Palace is yet to pick up pace, a video of a couple posing at the restricted areas of the Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) reservoir in the district went viral on Whatsapp on Saturday.
Subsequently, the Cauvery Neeravari Nigam Ltd. (CNNL) lodged a criminal complaint against an event management company and persons concerned for making/participating in a video-shoot at the reservoir, which has been facing threats from militant outfits.
A couple, said to be Deeksha and Nithin, has posed for the 3:31 minutes video shoot at some restricted places of the KRS. Investigations have revealed that a Bengaluru-based event management company had shot the video, said the KRS police.
Complaint
“We never give permissions to anybody to shoot videos on the dam road and at other restricted areas,” Basavarajegowda, Executive Engineer of CNNL (KRS Division), told The Hindu . The CNNL will verify documents and file a complaint, he said.
