Council adjourned sine die

Legislative Council Chairman D.H. Shankaramurthy adjourned the House sine die on Wednesday after moving the thanksgiving motion for conducting a 28-daylong session after a span of over 25 years.

The Council transacted business for one more day, after the Assembly was adjourned, because of a technical glitch in tabling the Karnataka Land Revenue (Amendment) Bill, 2014, which was passed in the Lower House. — Special Correspondent
