Chief Executive Officer of the Yadgir Zilla Panchayat S.A. Jilani has directed panchayat officials to cooperate with Sir Ratan Tata Trust in preparing a detailed report for the development of the district.
Speaking at a human development report seminar, jointly organised by the zilla panchayat and Kalike Project of the trust here on Thursday, Mr. Jilani said that after getting the project report, it would be placed before the State government to get approval.
Mr. Jilani said the trust would collect information pertaining to various problems in sectors such as education, agriculture, irrigation and health and would prepare a comprehensive development report identifying the problems and would give solutions.
He said that elected representatives too should cooperate in this effort.
Zilla panchayat president Maremma Shyananor inaugurated the seminar.
