Narasappa, a police constable working in the State Intelligence division in Bengaluru, felt proud after Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Chief Secretary K. Ratna Prabha for helping him pursue education when she was Deputy Commissioner of Raichur.

In her recent tweet, Ms. Ratna Prabha shared a moment stating that a shepherd boy, whom she helped, had become a police constable and he had visited her now after 27 years of the incident.

While referring to this, Mr. Modi appreciated Ms. Ratna Prabha for helping a shepherd boy join the mainstream of societal life, with good education and a handsome job.

Mr. Narasappa, who is from Idapanur village of Raichur taluk, completed his primary, higher and pre university education in Raichur district.

He was appointed constable in the Karnataka State Reserve Police in 2006 and is now working in the Control Room of State Intelligence division.

He recently met Ms. Ratna Prabha and expressed gratitude for her help.
