Congress-JD(S) still guarding MLAs

After three days of successfully herding MLAs together at resorts on the outskirts of Bengaluru and Hyderabad, Congress-JDS leaders are not resting. As the swearing of H D Kumaraswamy as the new chief minister was post-poned from Monday to Wednesday, the leaders are preparing to keep their flocks together for a few more days. Congress-JDS MLAs were shifted to two private hotels in the heart of the city on Saturday evening, where they will stay till not only Wednesday but till the new government proves its majority on the floor of the house shortly after. Sources said the parties are still fear BJP poaching its MLAs to defeat the government during trust vote.
