Conference on applied maths in Haveri

As many as 10 sessions on the advances in the field of applied mathematics will be held during a two-day conference in Haveri from Friday.

Mathematicians from across the country would participate in the deliberations during the conference hosted by KLE Society’s Gudleppa Hallikeri College.

Principal of the college, S.B. Nadagouda said in a press release that Professor of National Institute of Technology Warangal, Y.N. Reddy, would inaugurate the conference while chairman of the department of mathematics of Bangalore University, Pradeep G. Siddheshwar would deliver the keynote address.

Ravindra Hegadi of Solapur university, Palla Dhanumjaya of Biral Institute of Technology and Science, Goa, A.S. Vasudeva Murthy from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bengaluru, Rajeswari Seshadri of Pondicherry University, would participate, among others. Two sessions would be meant for presentation of research papers.
