Conference on Algebra in Manipal

The Department of Mathematics, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), will organise the 24th International Conference on Nearrings, Nearfields and Related Topics, here from July 6 to 11.

Vinod V. Thomas, Director of MIT, said that the conference would highlight concepts from modern Algebra and would stimulate new collaborations. He said that the international conference will help to create awareness and provide a platform to academicians, teachers and young researchers, to interact with distinguished mathematicians in the specialised area of algebra.

Pradeep G. Bhat, Head of the Department of Mathematics, MIT, said that the delegates at the conference would get a chance to learn about the latest in the field of Algebra. H. Vinod Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University, will inaugurate the conference at 9 a.m. on July 6 at the AC Seminar Hall in MIT campus.
