Wage a struggle against it, Congress workers told

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday held communalism as responsible for the rise of terror activities in the country and called upon Congress workers to wage a struggle against it.

Addressing party workers outside the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee office after receiving the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavan Jyoti, which came from Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu where the former Prime Minister was assassinated, Mr. Siddaramaiah said communalism was “as dangerous as naxalism” and every Congressmen should strive to curb it at all costs. He said that such divisive forces and fissiparous tendencies had to be eradicated, if one wants to uphold unity and integrity of India.
