The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has invited applications from medical and dental seat aspirants for common counselling.
- Uncertainty over seats in minority medical colleges that are yet to sign consensual agreement
- Only domicile students are eligible for government and government-quota seats
- Candidates can register for the counselling till July 9
- Schedule for document verification to be posted on KEA website on July 10 after 5 p.m.
Those who have qualified in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) are eligible to participate in the common counselling. Only domicile students are eligible for government and government-quota seats. Candidates can register for the counselling till July 9. The schedule for document verification will be posted on the KEA website, http://kea.kar.nic.in/, on July 10 after 5 p.m.
A press release issued by KEA states that candidates who have already registered need not do so again. However, those who are eligible for private or minority, or NRI, and other seats have to submit relevant certificates to the KEA as per the verification schedule.
