CMR Law College wins moot court competition

Students of CMR Law College, Bengaluru, emerged winners in the second moot court competition on international law organised by Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), here on Sunday.

The two-day event began on Saturday. The students of Christ University, Bengaluru, were adjudged runners-up.

Professor and head of the department of legal studies, University of Madras, A. Davi Ambrose highlighted the importance of space law and the evolution of outer space treaty and the development of instant customary international law.

Krishna S. Dixit, Assistant Solicitor General of India, High Court of Karnataka, Bengaluru, emphasised the need for thorough reading and hard work for law students.

KSLU Registrar Manjunath and Vice-Chancellor T.R. Subramanya were present.
