CME on psychiatry

As many as 150 delegates from across the State took part in a State-level Psychiatry Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme organised by the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and Hospital here on Sunday.

In the CME inaugurated by Director of KIMS Dattatreya Bant, several topics including obsessive and compulsive disorder, neuropsychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine and family therapy and others were deliberated on.

During the inaugural session, Head of the Department of Psychiatry, KIMS, Mahesh Desai b6riefed about the CME and welcomed the gathering. Principal K.F. Kammar was also present.
