Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will hold a farewell function on Tuesday to Chief Secretary Subhash Chandra Kuntia, who is retiring on November 30.
According to the Chief Minister’s engagement list, he has organised the farewell function to Mr. Kuntia at his official residence “Krishna” on Tuesday at 10.15 a.m.
The State Cabinet in its last meeting authorised the Chief Minister to select the new Chief Secretary. According to sources in the State Secretariat, Additional Chief Secretary Ratna Prabha is expected to succeed Mr. Kuntia owing to her seniority.
