Clarification

Responding to an article in these columns on February 22, real estate firm Nitesh Estates has denied allegations of tax evasion. In a clarification, Nitesh Estates has said they have discharged the “tax liabilities in accordance with the law”.

“We are a law-abiding company and have processes in place to ensure that there is zero deviation in terms of compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements,” the company said, adding that they have not received any demand notice from the Department of Commercial Taxes till date.
