A charge sheet has been filed against G. Somashekar Reddy, Bellary MLA and Chairman of the Karnataka Milk Federation, for allegedly threatening Conservator of Forests U.V. Singh, during his visit to Ramgadh forest area in Sandur taluk in September 2009, in connection with the Lokayukta investigation into illegal mining.
Mr. Somashekar Reddy and T.H. Suresh Babu, Kampli MLA are already in jail on charges of bribing the judge of the Special CBI court to secure bail for his brother G. Janardhan Reddy.
