As many as 11,925 engineering seats have been allotted to Common Entrance Test rank holders at the end of the second round of counselling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
According to a KEA release on Sunday, 6,175 engineering seats are available.
The KEA is yet to decide the dates for the second extended round of counselling. While there are no seats for medical, dental and farm science courses, the release said there are six seats for architecture, 79 for B.Pharma/D.Pharma, and 335 for lateral B.Pharma.
The second round seat allotment status has been put up on the KEA website, http://kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates will be able to view the details of seat allotted as per their options priority. Candidates can also view the college-wise, course-wise, category-wise cut-off rank of real allotment as well as details of un-allotted seats course-wise or category-wise, the release added.
The release said that if candidates wish to surrender their seat, they may do so at any helpline centre and they will be entitled to get a refund of the fee after deduction of Rs. 5,000, as processing charge. Such surrendered seats will be offered to eligible candidates in the second extended round.
