CBSE Chennai region’s pass percentage stands at 99.69

Class 10 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) students in the Chennai region recorded 99.69 per cent passes, a marginal improvement compared to last year’s 99.03 per cent.

However, the overall pass percentage across the country, which stands at 96.21 per cent, is a dip compared to last year’s 97.32 per cent. Keeping in tune with the trend every year, girls in the Chennai region with 99.79 per cent passes have performed better than boys with 99.62 per cent passes.

Overall, around 1.68 lakh of the total 14.1 lakh students, who wrote the exam, have bagged a Cumulative Grade Point Assessment of 10 that is the highest grade a student can secure.
