CAVA invites applications

The Chamarajendra Academy of Visual Arts (CAVA) has invited applications for admission to various courses to commence from the new academic year. A release said the CAVA offers First-Year Foundation Course for which the qualification is a pass in SSLC or equivalent examination and admission will be based on an aptitude test and viva voce . The upper age limit is 22 years. It also offers BFA courses with specialisation in painting, graphics, photography and photo journalism, history of art, sculpture and applied art. The prospectus and applications can be obtained on payment of Rs. 190 in cash in person or by sending a DD for Rs. 215 payable to the Dean, CAVA, Sayyaji Rao Road, CTI Building, Mysuru, by post. — Special Correspondent
