Gubbi police along with the members of Prani Daya Sanga rescued 40 heads of cattle which were being transported in a container to a slaughterhouse in Bengaluru on Friday.
The police arrested the driver and cleaner of the container at G.Hosahalli gate in Gubbi taluk of Tumakuru district. The cattle were sent to a goshala. A case has been registered in Gubbi police station.
