A case has been registered  in Kyatsandra police station in Tumakuru city on Tuesday against Bharatiya Janata Party MLA, Suresh Gowda for allegedly slapping the manager of the toll plaza near Kyatsandra on March 10.  Superintendent of Police, Isha Pant told The Hindu that the police have registered a case after seeing the CCTV footage that was aired on national channels. When the police enquired about the incident, the manager told them that he had been ill and hence he had not informed the police. "The case has been registered after the manager Mallikarjuna registered a complaint on Tuesday," said Ms Pant.
