Canara Bank celebrates Founder’s Day

The Canara Bank on Wednesday celebrated its Founder’s Day by paying floral tributes to the portrait of its founder Ammembal Subba Rao Pai at the main branch here. B.R. Poornima, Additional Deputy Commissioner, inaugurated the celebrations and lauded the bank for introducing a series of programmes to improve the financial status of people. Canara Bank donated a water purifier to the Government High School at the Police Colony. Founder’s Day was also celebrated in the Canara Bank branches across the district.
