Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today hinted at cabinet reshuffle in the next few days and ending the uncertainty over dogging the issue.

In a brief chat with the newsmen at the airport here on Sunday, Mr. Siddaramaiah, who was on his way to Kundargi of Gokak taluk to participate in a function at a mutt there, said the request of Excise Minister and Belagavi district in-ncharge, Satish L. Jarkiholi for change in portfolio would be looked at the time of reshuffling.

Interestingly, Mr. Jarkiholi was conspicuous by his absence at the airport and also at the function held at Kundargi in the afternoon.

The chief minister declined to respond on the allegations related to the coal transport scam.

He also declined to react to the allegations levelled against him by former chief minister H.D. Kumarswamy stating that the latter had developed the habit of speaking lies, “Mr. Kumarsway is sitting in the Opposition and expected to justify his role as leader of an opposition party instead of spending his precious time in spreading lies about me”.
