BSY gets anticipatory bail

The Karnataka High Court on Friday granted anticipatory bail to the former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa in a case pending before the Special Lokayukta Court relating to alleged corruption in the process of withdrawing an industrial plot allotted to a businessman.

The special court had initiated the proceedings against him based on a complaint by businessman Alam Pasha, alleging illegality and corruption in the process of withdrawal of 26 acres of industrial land allotted to him near Devanahalli.
