BKIT is nodal centre for virtual lab project

Bheemanna Khandre Institute of Technology, Bhalki, has been chosen as the nodal centre for the virtual laboratory project of IIT Roorkee, based in Uttarakhand.

Nationwide network

Under the Centrally-sponsored project, students of any engineering colleges in Karnataka can visit BKIT to login to the nationwide network of technical institutions.

They can conduct experiments in several fields including bio-medical imaging, signal processing, civil engineering, electrical machines and surveying, said a release by Bipin Bihari Lal, Principal. Nagashetty Biradar,

Head of the Department of Electronics, is the coordinator of the project.
