BJP to decide next move after State budget

The Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to wait for the State budget to be presented by Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy before charting its next course of action on the coalition government.

“We’re already looking into the manifestos of both the coalition partners, particularly the JD(S) as the Chief Minister is from that party. There are so many tall promises made in the JD(S) manifesto. We will see if these promises are incorporated in the budget,” BJP State co-spokesperson S. Prakash told The Hindu .

The BJP will launch a campaign to create awareness about the prominent pre-poll promises left out in the budget. “Leaving out any major promise will amount to deceiving people of the State,” he said.
