The BJP, criticising Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for inducting into the Cabinet D.K. Shivakumar and R. Roshan Baig, who are facing charges of irregularities, staged a protest here on Monday.

BJP members urged Mr. Siddaramaiah to remove them from the Cabinet. They staged the demonstration near Sri Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Circle on the Bangalore-Mysore Highway, and raised slogans against the Chief Minister and the Congress. Mr. Shivakumar and Mr. Baig are facing several cases, and are “not fit to be inducted into the Cabinet,” protesters said.

Protesters added that the party would continue its agitation until the two leaders were removed from their posts.
