The State government will send 25 young entrepreneurs abroad every year to undergo training to establish IT companies, says Minister for Information and Technology S.R. Patil

The State government will organise Bangalore ITE.Biz 2013, an international conference on Information and Technology, from October 22 to 24. Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology Kapil Sibal will inaugurate the event. Union Minister of State for Communication and IT Milind Deora and Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development will participate. As a precursor to the event, regional conferences would be held in Hubli and Belgaum. An event held in Mangalore on Friday was part of the ITE.Biz, Minister for Information and Technology S.R. Patil said.

The Department of Information and Technology was planning to hold roadshows in United States of America and Europe to attract investments in the State. “The roadshows will be held in selected cities, and the former Lambeth Mayor Neeraj Patil has extended invitation to the State to hold roadshows,” he added.
