Mallamma Bande, wife of slain police officer Mallikarjun Bande, has demanded a CBI probe into the death of her husband.
Ms. Mallamma visited Doddakoppalu village in Kunigal taluk of the district on Tuesday and met the parents of deceased IAS officer D.K.Ravi. Speaking to reporters later, she expressed her satisfaction about handing over D.K. Ravi’s case to the CBI.
“However, I did not get justice. I will get the CID report under the RTI Act and approach the CBI for a thorough investigation into my husband’s killing,” she said. Ms. Mallamma also demanded a bravery award for her husband.
