Members of Karnataka State Samyukta ASHA Workers’ Association took out a protest rally in Bidar on Friday demanding improved working conditions and payment of wage arrears.

They complained that most of them had not got their wages for six months now. The State government should immediately release its share of the incentive and the state’s share, they demanded.

They also demanded that the government should release medicine kits, uniforms and other amenities on time.

Mahesh Nadagouda, D. Nagalakshmi and others led the strike.
