The next year, he had travelled seven North Eastern States on his bike. The objective of that expedition was to promote national integration.

Speaking to presspersons he said that the objective of the cross-border expedition was to promote meaningful dialogue between various cultures and to promote world peace.

He added that a documentary film would be made on the expedition.

Mr. Thimmoji rides a Hero Impulse bike that has a capacity of 150 cc. It has been customised to suit the terrains of the nations that will be covered. The design of the bike has been modified.

He has secured the travel documents including the visas of all the 11 nations and the International Driving Permit from the concerned authorities. The bike expedition was flagged-off by entrepreneur S. Rudre Gowda at Nehru Stadium in the city.
