Annual Credit Plan released

S.S. Nakul, Chief Executive Officer, Ballari Zilla Panchayat, who is also the chairman of the district-level bankers’ committee, released the Annual Credit Plan for the district for 2016-17 with an outlay of Rs. 5,901.59 crore here on Wednesday.

It has been prepared by SyndicateBank, the Lead Bank.

There is an increase of 17.58 per cent over the previous year’s plan outlay of Rs. 5,019. 51 crore.

Priority sector advances gets Rs. 5,035.63 crore and non-priority sector advances Rs. 865.96 crore. Among the priority sector advances Rs. 2,976.51 crore has been set aside for term loans, Rs. 1.041.66 crore for the manufacturing sector and Rs. 1,017.46 crore for other priority sectors. Crop loans get a lion’s share of Rs. 1,897 crore under the priority sector advances .
