Speaking to reporters, Mr. Hazare said that he was happy to visit the mutt to get ‘darshan’ of the seer of the mutt, Dr. Shivakumara Swami and also to see thousands of children being educated at Siddaganga Mutt.

Mentioning the importance of education, Mr. Hazare also said the children of the Mutt were being taught the teachings of Sri Basavanna, the 12th century social reformer, which would help them in learning a rich culture.

Seer of Siddaganga Mutt, Dr. Shivakumara Swami, president of the mutt, Siddalinga Swami and others were present.
