Anjaneya not to contest Lok Sabha polls

Social Welfare Minister H. Anjaneya has said that he is not keen on contesting the Lok Sabha elections from Chitradurga LS constituency.

He said the party high command had discussed his name in meetings of the State screening committee and the Central election committee, but he told them that he was not interested . Mr. Anjaneya said he had visited New Delhi for official work and there was no discussion with regard to fielding a candidate from Chitradurga.
