ANF personnel get training in first aid

As many as 80 police personnel of the Anti-Naxalite Force (ANF) took part in a first-aid training workshop conducted by Melaka Manipal Medical College, a constituent of Manipal University, here on Thursday

They were provided training in responding to situations like snakebite, heart attack, gunshot injury, basic life support, said a press release. H. Vinod Bhat, Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University inaugurated the workshop. Annamalai K., Superintendent of Police, who was instrumental in the organisation of this workshop also spoke on the occasion.

Ullas Kamath, Dean of Melaka Manipal Medical College, assured that such endeavours will continue to be conducted by the college.
