Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah will hold a meeting of party senior leaders in Mangaluru on October 4. The coastal city has become a political hotbed with the recent communal incidents.

According to sources, Mr. Shah will review the progress of various organisational programmes suggested by him during his last visit to the State in August. The meeting is being held in Mangaluru as Mr. Shah will be touring Kerala from the next day, a senior party leader said.

All top leaders of the party State unit, including members of the core committee and office-bearers, are expected to take part in the meeting.
