Chamarajanagar Deputy Commissioner A.M. Kunjappa on Thursday took additional charge as Regional Commissioner of Mysore division.
This follows the government’s decision to divest Rashmi V. of the post of Regional Commissioner which she held concurrently with her posting as the Director-General of Administrative Training Institute, Mysore. The government order relieving Ms. Rashmi was issued on Tuesday night. Mr. Kunjappa told presspersons that priority would be accorded to clearing encroachment of government land and lakes in the districts coming under the Mysore Division. Additional Regional Commissioner M.R. Ravi was present.
