AIISH Director gets ‘Rajabhasha Shree’ title

S.R. Savithri, Director, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), was conferred with ‘Rajabhasha Shree’ title at the All India Official Language Conference recently held at Ooty for achieving excellence in dissemination of information to the people in the language of their choice and in particular in the official language Hindi.

Prasanna Kumar Patsani, Convener, Parliamentary OL Implementation Committee, conferred the award at a function organised by Raja Bhasha Seva Sansthan, New Delhi.

AIISH also bagged the first prize for best technical literature in Hindi in ‘Region C’ for its services to communicatively afflicted population. It also secured third prize for the best execution of official language, the release said.
