AC sleeper bus from Gadag to Bengaluru

Bus passengers from Gadag and surrounding areas will now have the option of travelling by AC Corona Sleeper Bus to the capital city.

The service of the air conditioned bus from Gadag to Bengaluru was formally inaugurated by Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister and district-in-charge H.K. Patil at the Old Bus Station in Gadag on Saturday night.

Mr. Patil said that it was an effort by the Gadag depot to provide better and convenient bus service to the people. Chairman of the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation M.B. Soudagar said that steps were being taken to improve the bus services in north Karnataka.

The bus will leave Gadag at 9.45 p.m. every day and reach Bengaluru at 5.45 p.m. via Laxmeshwar and Haveri. In the return direction, it will leave Bengaluru at 9.45 p.m. Gadag Divisional Controller Shanthappa said that the booking for the new service could be done from the Gadag and Laxmeshwar Bus Stations.
